HP-UX clusters feature the ClusterPack clustering software solution, on Itanium 2-based HP Integrity servers with choice of InfiniBand or Gigabit Ethernet cluster interconnects. The HP Cluster Platform 6000 offers HP-UX with choice of Integrity rx1620, rx2600 and rx4640 nodes, up to 128 compute nodes. HP-UX clustering also permits you to exploit the shared memory and intra-node performance of large-scale SMP systems: clusters of 8, 16, 32 and 64 processor systems deliver the scale of large clusters with capability to address the most difficult of serial and memory intensive applications.
